‘In Dialogue With the World – Give More’ Exhibition

Opening tomorrow, January 17, at the Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) in Copenhagen, , the ‘In Dialogue with the World’ exhibition, which runs until March 10, will show how architects today engage far beyond aesthetics when designing buildings. schmidt hammer lassen architects, along with Henning Larsen Architects, and ADEPT will invite visitors to listen to their accounts of what it is like to work in the field of architecture in the 21st century. With the title Give more, the schmidt hammer lassen architects’ part of the exhibition uses eight selected projects as examples of how buildings, aside from being beautiful, give more. International Skyscraper Competition Winning Proposal / ADEPT and Urbanus

The winning design of a large international architectural competition, ‘The Two Towers’, was recently announced in Shenzhen, . The team selected to design this new Shenzhen landmark – comprising 100.000 square meters in total – is a constellation of ADEPT (DK) and Urbanus (CHN) with VSA (HK), Max Fordham LLP (GB) and Beijing CCI Architectural Design Co, LTD (CHN). The jury meeting was hosted at the Shenzhen Municipal Planning Building with Pritzker Prize winner Thom Mayne as chairman of the jury. More information on the competition winners after the break.

Danish/Norwegian team wins competition for Asker Sentrum

Asker Municipality in Norway continues its urban development towards a larger, more dynamic city centre. DARK, ADEPT and a consultant team have just won the international competition for city development and expansion of Asker Centre. ADEPT wins competition in Oppdal, Norway

The scenic skiing and hiking area Oppdal in is being revitalized with a new dynamic city center. ADEPT, in collaboration with Various Architects and Lalaland landscape architects, has won the international competition for Oppdal Sentrum.

Their winner proposal Oppdal+ presents a dense mountain village containing new developments – residences, holiday houses, offices and retail – designed in an eco-friendly and accessible manner to increase the flow and number of skiers, hikers and activity-seekers in the center of Oppdal.
