"Contemporary Domestic Architecture in Times of Lockdown and Emptied Cities"
The BrCidades project aims to set a new urban agenda focused on building cities that are economically dynamic, socially just, environmentally responsible, and culturally plural. During the period of social isolation, the network launched a weekly program, Meia Hora com o BrCidades, which aims to disseminate its agenda and, naturally, reflect on the changes brought about by the pandemic. With an irreverent and informal approach, the program invites prominent urbanists, researchers, professionals, and organizations committed to advancing these agendas to join the conversation.
The 3rd Seminar "Accessibility: Limits and Possibilities" (online) is an event organized by the "Accessibility in the Interior Space" extension project, linked to the INTRA and LEAUD groups of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (FAU UFJF), as well as the Graduate Program in Built Environment (PROAC). The seminar will take place on August 24 and 25, 2020, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
On September 25, the 6th Open House Madrid architecture and design congress will take place. Titled GREEN IN THE CITY, the event will delve into the capacity of cities to transform and address critical issues such as public health, climate change, and energy generation, among others.
