Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time. The time frame is the duration of cycles in a recurring event, where the time frame is the reciprocal of the frequency.

Tbilisi Architecture Biennial will accept proposals for its International Open Call from June 22 through July 31, 2020. The winning proposals will be realized during the event in October/November 2020 digitally and physically in selected locations in Tbilisi and around the world.

The Architecture Et cetera Lab is launching a call for proposals to be included in The City to You Think Tank. The call seeks proposals for design works to be presented at a Round Table Event co-ordinated by the Architecture Et cetera Lab (Griffith University, Australia) and the Design Institute of Australia and further disseminated through a professional design publication.

The Glasgow Institute of Architects, in collaboration with the Hamilton Mausoleum Trust, are launching an exciting design ideas competition in June 2020 for the iconic Hamilton Mausoleum and Keeper’s Lodge, located in the Low Parks in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.


In-Fra-Structures AACC 2020 is a competition of ideas for participation in the XIII Meeting of International Arquitecturas Colectivas.

Three teams will be selected as winners of the Warming Huts Competition: Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice from submissions of designs for a warming hut or art installation. Winning entries will be placed along the River Trail located on the Assiniboine and Red rivers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A jury will select the winning designs based on their creativity in use of materials, providing shelter, poetics of assembly and form, integration with the landscape, and ease of construction.

This project is mainly to upgrade the hardware facilities, improve the appearance of the museum building, and solve the problem of water leakage from the roof. It is expected to make KMFA a museum that can keep up with the times in terms of both hardware and software, becoming a real international exhibition venue.


INSPIRELI AWARDS is the world’s largest global student contest in Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape, and Interior Design, which in 2019 involved 136 countries. INSPIRELI AWARDS are enabling new talent to tell their stories and raise awareness on their own world view before they get their chance to start building. It brings together up-and-coming students of architecture, as well as established professionals, and provides a forum for them to connect to the general public.


The caves of northern Iceland are popular tourist spots, with thermal pools, breathtaking landscape, and backdrops made famous by Game of Thrones. Grjótagjá is a collection of three caves which are located near each other and have been a popular bathing spot for locals since the 1940s.
