Archtrends, the architecture and design portal by Portobello, has opened registration for the 3rd edition of its architecture competition. Interested participants must develop projects based on the theme "What's inside matters" and publish them on the Archtrends website between July 3 and August 7. Emergency initiatives to combat the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic through architecture and urbanism are now eligible for funding from the CAU/SC. On Tuesday, May 26, the Council launched Public Call No. 01/2020, which allocates R$ 75,000 to projects benefiting families in socioeconomic vulnerability, specifically within the realms of Social Interest Housing and Education, Research, and Extension.

The deadline for the national public competition for the requalification of the Senac building complex in downtown Belo Horizonte has been extended to February 15. The competition was launched last December by Senac in Minas and the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB).
