BNDES Pequena África Competition - International Architectural Ideas Competition for the Pequena África territory, Rio de Janeiro

Pequena África is a space of singular significance, where culture, memory, and resistance intertwine along every path and within every evolving narrative. This territory has established itself as a bastion of Afro-Brazilian heritage, serving as a benchmark in the construction of Brazilian identity. To enhance its visibility, the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) is launching the BNDES Pequena África Competition, open to national and international participants. This represents a historic opportunity for recognition and reparation, ensuring that the memory of the formation of the Brazilian people is preserved and celebrated.

Call for Ideas Competitions for the Historical Heritage of Choquequirao

ARCHLAND, a firm specializing in the organization of architecture competitions, is honored to present its most significant competition to date. Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize - 5th Edition

The call for entries for the 2020 CAU/RJ Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize is now available! This year's winner will be awarded a study trip to a Latin American country, in addition to R$ 7,000 for expenses. The authors of the projects placed 2nd and 3rd will receive R$ 5,000 and R$ 3,000, respectively, for study trips. The results will be announced at the Architect and Urban Planner Day celebration on December 15.
