There is a way of dwelling that seeks not to impose itself, but to endure, a way of dwelling that, in response to the accelerated rhythms of contemporary life, creates space for contemplation, exploration, experience, and reflection. For this issue of Dearq “Architectures that Linger”, we are seeking contributions that propose distinctive ways of understanding architecture’s measured relationship to scale, time, and resources, while reclaiming spatial experience as a core value.

Open call for the Hatching workshops, an international festival of thought on life in arid environments

In keeping with a tradition dating back to 1969, the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile is calling for nominations for the 2024 National Architecture Award. This is the highest honor an architect or architectural team can receive in our country. According to the Regulations for Awards and Distinctions, the award recognizes individuals "whose career and ethical and professional performance have set an example for all architects, in any manifestation of professional practice, whether in the field of architectural design, academic work, professional association involvement, public service, or management."
