Archiprix International is proud to announce the start of its tenth edition. After successful editions in 2001 in Rotterdam, 2003 in Istanbul, 2005 in Glasgow, 2007 in Shanghai, 2009 in Montevideo, 2011 in Cambridge (USA), 2013 in Moscow, 2015 in Madrid and 2017 in Ahmedabad, Archiprix International will again stage a unique presentation of the world's best graduation projects in architecture, urban design and landscape architecture. The Archiprix International 2019 will take place in Santiago Chile. We are honoured that the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de Chile are our co-organisers for the 2019 edition.

Competition: Voronezh Central Park
Landscape architects from Europe are invited to take part in an architect’s selection for the design of the Central Park area of Voronezh – a city of 1.000.000 inhabitants located 500 km south of Moscow. The area comprises over 100 ha of woodland north of the city centre. It has been used as a park before, but has fallen in disrepair in the 1990s.

Call for Entries: Infrastructures, the 2018 James Harrison Steedman Fellowship in Architecture
How does infrastructure shape our individual and collective environments?
That’s the question posed by "Infrastructures," the 2018 James Harrison Steedman Fellowship in Architecture. The biennial research competition challenges early-career architects to investigate the fundamental systems, facilities and services that enable, sustain and enhance societal living conditions.
The fellowship is organized by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, in concert with AIA St. Louis. The winning proposal will receive $50,000 to support up to a year of international travel and research.

Jean Molitor: Bau1haus: Modernism around the Globe
Berlin-based photographer Jean Molitor has been traveling around the world since 2009, tracking the legacy of the Bauhaus. A century after the founding of the school, several generations of architects have confronted or been reared on the innovations of Bauhaus architecture. Trailblazers, allies and heirs to modernism are united by an architectural language generally described as "Bauhaus."
In his Bau1haus project, Molitor focuses on the aesthetics of Bauhaus-influenced architecture across the globe; his pictures make it possible to perceive the continuity of the school's legacy and its architectural language across cultures in a clear fashion.
If Architecture is a Language, Then a Building is a Story
The difference between inspirational stories to the ones lacking inspiration often depends on the order the storyteller chooses to place his creation. In this sense, not only does this book represent a series of architect Eli Armon's architectural achievements, but also provides a statement on his work in retrospect by attempting a story narrative that looks at the tale of creation. Thus, a new creation is formed, designed by choosing the picture angle, by editing the order of the pictures, and by writing words that interlace into a melody of structure and creation. Call for Lisbon Triennale Millennium bcp Début Award
For the third time, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale presents the Début award to an architect or a practice in order to celebrate their achievements and encourage their career. With this new edition of the award, we hope to support new voices and forms of architectural practice. The call is open to architects under the age of 35 (thirty-five), or any architecture office with an average age under or of 35 (thirty-five) till March 26th, 2019.
