The Municipality of Chile Chico, located in the Aysén Region, invites entries for the public tender titled "Architectural Design and Consistorial Profile for the Chile Chico Municipal Building." The initiative is organized by the Municipal Planning Secretariat of Chile Chico.

The Contemporary Architecture Foundation (FAC), with the support of Roca through its Roca Galleries and in collaboration with the Directorate General for Architecture of the Ministry of Public Works, ASEJA, and various Schools of Architecture, among others, is promoting the Active Iberian Registry of Young Architects (FACtual). The foundation has launched a call for entries aimed at architects under 40 who are based in Spain or Portugal.

Every year, hundreds of students graduate as architects across Colombia, producing projects and theses that reflect their personal interests, research, and motivations. Unfortunately, once their studies conclude, these projects often remain buried in a laptop folder or on a library shelf. We know, however, that many of these theses address fundamental issues in contemporary architectural practice, not only in Colombia but globally.

For this reason, we are launching the third edition of our open call for graduation theses in Colombia. If you believe your undergraduate or graduate thesis is strong enough to be published on ArchDaily and deserves global recognition, it is time to submit your entry using the form at the end of this article.

The Mayor's Office of Quito, through the Metropolitan Institute of Urban Planning (IMPU), invites architects, urban planners, and other professionals to form teams with residents and neighborhood representatives in Quito to participate in four Ideas Competitions. The Loja Urban Laboratory is a multi-stakeholder, creative, and innovative space that seeks to support and strengthen local public policy for the comprehensive improvement of neighborhoods and public space through a holistic and sustainable approach. The laboratory’s work contributes to building an inclusive, safe, and equitable city by strengthening an intervention model for peripheral urban neighborhoods, promoting planned and sustainable urban development while optimizing land use and occupancy. The core focus of comprehensive neighborhood improvement is based on the recovery, activation, and appropriation of public space through citizen participation, promoting universal access and enjoyment for all as an exercise of rights, and as a foundation for the right to the city.
