The Municipality of Chile Chico, located in the Aysén Region, invites entries for the public tender titled "Architectural Design and Consistorial Profile for the Chile Chico Municipal Building." The initiative is organized by the Municipal Planning Secretariat of Chile Chico.
Objectives
The tender seeks to select the best design proposal, one that offers a distinctive and iconic architecture for the town, enriching both the built environment and public space, while opening up possibilities for contemporary architecture in a remote location.
Furthermore, the building must incorporate energy efficiency criteria, open toward General Carrera Lake to leverage distant views, and include outdoor spaces for civic gatherings.
The proposal must account for the complexity of the territory and the commune's isolation by developing infrastructure in an area that currently lacks it. Interior layouts should foster innovative spaces that encourage teamwork.
