The Mayor's Office of Quito, through the Metropolitan Institute of Urban Planning (IMPU), invites architects, urban planners, and other professionals to form teams with residents and neighborhood representatives in Quito to participate in four Ideas Competitions. These competitions aim to implement the New City Model proposed in the Quito 2040 Vision, selecting winning design proposals for four sustainable neighborhoods.
All neighborhoods within the Metropolitan District of Quito that have established neighborhood assemblies are eligible to participate. For the purposes of this competition, these are divided into four sectors: South, Center, North, and Valleys.
