Guto Requena presents projects that blend technology and emotion at DW! 22

Estudio Guto Requena is opening its creative hub—a historic mansion in downtown São Paulo—to the public for the first time, showcasing projects and works developed through research at Juntxs.Lab, its laboratory for empathy, design, and technology studies. The studio will host guided tours on September 8 as part of the DW! 22 program at Rua Major Diogo, 91, in Bela Vista, by appointment.

Lecture: Pierre Alain Trévelo (TVK) at Di Tella Campus

On Thursday, August 8, at 7:00 PM, Pierre Alain Trévelo, founder of the firm TVK, will deliver a lecture organized by the Center for Studies of Contemporary Architecture (CEAC) at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, with the support of the French Institute and the Embassy of France in Argentina, and featuring an introduction by Darío Graschinsky.

Since 2016, the Universidad Finis Terrae School of Architecture has hosted Atraviesos Urbanos (Urban Traversals), a series of thematic tours through various sectors of the capital where an architect from the institution discusses the cultural, urban, and historical value of a neighborhood. Debate on Russia in Ukraine in 2022: Eastern Europe in turmoil

On Friday, September 16, the first debate on the war in Ukraine will take place, centered on the book ENSAIOS SOBRE A GUERRA Rússia Ucrânia (Essays on the Russia-Ukraine War), currently in production by the independent Brazilian publisher Kinoruss. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Galpão Comum space in São Paulo. It will feature Svetlana Ruseishvili (UFSCar), who contributed one of the book's essays, alongside organizers Bruno Gomide (FFLCH-USP) and Neide Jallageas (Kinoruss).

Exhibition: The Neighborhood of Our Own / The Pedestrian Reconquest

The NGO La Reconquista Peatonal (LRP) seeks to highlight people's experiences in the city, particularly through walking. To this end, it collects walkers' experiences through mobile paper journals that individuals receive, complete, and return with observations, perceptions, and daily experiences in the city. This process has generated over a thousand journals containing diverse records and relevant information on the multiple relationships between people and their environments, highlighting subjective aspects often overlooked in the urban sphere, such as memory, identity, and affection.
