After the success of the 2015 IASS expo in Amsterdam and the 2019 expo in Barcelona, WG21[1] is organising a new exhibition to celebrate this success during the annual international symposium of the IASS and the 7th international conference on Spatial Structures. Three teams will be selected as winners of the Warming Huts Competition: Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice from submissions of designs for a warming hut or art installation. Winning entries will be placed along the River Trail located on the Assiniboine and Red rivers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A jury will select the winning designs based on their creativity in use of materials, providing shelter, poetics of assembly and form, integration with the landscape, and ease of construction.

This project is a 5A Grade A office building held for lease (partly owner-occupied) to financial organizations as their headquarter. The above grade building floor area is 93700m2. The office building is 82000㎡ and the commercial building above ground is 8000m2. Underground commercial building area 3700㎡. Building height restriction is 220 m. Qianhai Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. and Century Securities Co., Ltd. are the joint owners. The project is located in Qianwan Zone T102-0317 parcel in Nanshan district in Shenzhen, at the junction between Tinghai Avenue and Qianwan 2 RD, close to Qianwan and Menghai metro stations. This project aims to become a financial icon in the Greater Bay Area and a classic financial tower in Qianhai. The total investment of the project will be about RMB 4.856 billion (including land price).

EU-wide, open architectural competition for “Campus of Religions” launched in Vienna.
A joint major project of eight religious communities in Vienna’s aspern Seestadt, one of Europe’s largest urban development areas
The ”Campus of the Religions”, an interfaith center and international model project, will play a special role in Vienna’s social life. The competition launched on April 17th aims at finding architectural solutions for the buildings for worship/religious services of the eight participating communities, for the University College of Christian Churches for Teacher Education KPH, shared and open spaces. The Campus construction site covers approx. 10,000 m² near aspern’s lakeside.
The space that hosts the project is currently a 9 holes golf course. Our wish is to turn it into a verdant, fragrant garden where rosemary and thyme give golfers and non-golfers alike an opportunity to nourish their body and mind. Creating this mesmerizing atmosphere will be made possible by planting one million rosemarie and thyme bushes around the golf area.

On April 15, 2020, an Open International Competition was launched for the architectural and artistic design of stations on two new branches of the MoscowMetro – “Prospekt Marshala Zhukova” on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya Line, and the station with the working name “Klenoviy bulvar 2” on the Biryulevskaya Line.
The aim of the competition is to develop radical ideas for a livable and future-proof urban quarter on a former industrial site in the town of Backnang, which has 37,000 inhabitants, in the Rems-Murr district in Baden-Württemberg. The approx. 16.7 hectare large Backnang West neighbourhood has been part of the Network of the International Building Exhibition 2027 since 2019. It was submitted by the city of Backnang.
