In order to restore the innovative local culture and the equipment that help the coexistence of local residents, artists, and visitors as the typical cultural space of Seoul, ‘Front of Hongik University’, is going to transform into a standardized commercial space, the contest of inventing a cultural platform will be performed from 5th October to 8th November.
In 2016 the Festival was visited by not less than 20 000 visitors and was committed to raising awareness in schools.75 kindergarten and primary classes took part in this new program.
The twelfth edition of the Festival will take place from 13th June to 18th June. The FAV in La Grande Motte will take place from 17th to 25th June 2017.
The FAV will keep to aware a wide public to architecture, to highlight a young generation of architects and to discover places from the urban heritage.

Red Brick field is a parcel of 0.534 hectares of greens space serving residential properties in Red Brick estate, Barne Barton Plymouth. Historically part of a former school playing fields, Red Brick field provides a level space for recreation. We would like to commission an original and distinctive proposal for improvements that activate the space, enhance the function and identity of the field, and encourage greater use by the community. These will include a gateway sculpture, play features, seating features, signage/waymarking and gating improvements. The design proposal should respond to ideas of community identity and heritage. The total budget is £30,000.

Winter Stations is now embarking on its third-year, opening an international design competition to bring temporary public art installations to The Beaches, exhibited to celebrate Toronto's winter waterfront landscape. This year we are expecting to include up to six lifeguard stands, including an addition three by invited universities, across Balmy, Kew and Ashbridges Bay beaches located in the heart of the Beach community, south of Queen Street East, between Woodbine and Victoria Park Avenues. These utilitarian structures are to be used as the armature for temporary installations, which will need to be able to withstand the rigours of Toronto winter weather. The UK Government and Malcolm Reading Consultants have announced today an international competition for the design of a new National Memorial to commemorate the events of the Holocaust.
To be located next to Parliament in Victoria Tower Gardens in London, the new national landmark will "demonstrate the UK’s commitment to honouring the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, providing a place for quiet reflection as well as large-scale national commemorations." The competition brief also calls for the design of a potential below-ground learning center to accompany the memorial, which would provide visitors with the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Holocaust and the context of the memorial itself.

"Queen Hur Memorial Park Construction Project" is promoted in joint as a result of the 2015 Korea-India Summit on reinforcing cultural and personal exchanges between the two countries. The project is to reorganize the existing Queen Hur Memorial Park located in Ayodhya, India, and to extend the park in the riverside area next to the memorial park to construct the memorial park newly for connecting to the adjacent urban fabric, and commercial and cultural facilities.
