SESAM 2020 POLIKLINIKA in Slavutych, Ukraine

The Ukrainian team of European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA ) is holding an architecture event called SESAM POLIKLINIKA in Slavutych, Ukraine on 28.05 - 07.06.

SLAVUTYCH was built to rehouse workers from the contaminated zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

250 young architects from Europe and beyond will come in Slavutych, Northern Ukraine, for 10 days. During the event participants will inhabit an abandoned hospital in the city centre and will help to bring it back to life.

Around 30 workshops, run by architectural students and young professionals, will tackle the issue of this post-atomic city. Workshops will be selected

Pasadena Heritage Craftsman Weekend

In its 27th year, Pasadena Heritage will present the Annual Craftsman Weekend on November 9-11, 2018. The Weekend will feature house tours of notable Craftsman properties, along with bus and walking tours of the surrounding neighborhoods. Other events scheduled include a Show and Sale with exhibitors of antique and contemporary furniture and decorative arts, a silent auction, workshops and presentations. What will workshop participants learn?

Building Trust are happy to announce that our latest workshop will be held in Batu Kliang, Lombok. The region near the waterfall of Benang Stokel, which is one of the major tourist attractions in Lombok, Indonesia. We are going to work with DOME LOMBOK and three local villages that were 90% destroyed after the recent earthquake. A total of 600 houses were destroyed by the quakes and the local community urgently need new housing.
