Latin American Experiences: Debate 1 - Out-of-the-Box Architecture Schools

Speakers from Latin America and the world reflect, alongside Venezuelan architects both abroad and within Venezuela, on the exercises conducted within their educational spaces, workshops, and teaching experiences in communities and architecture schools. These "out-of-the-box" approaches depart from conventional teaching, as they embody a defiant attitude toward exploring themes, contexts, and disciplinary problems not typically found in standard curricula.

Course - Exhibition Design: From Plan to Practice / with Helena Cavalheiro and guests

What are the conceptual and technical issues that shape an exhibition design project? Who are the agents involved in the process? What are the most commonly used tools and work stages? Although rooted in the realm of architecture, the task of translating an artistic narrative into space has its own particularities.

Aimed at students and professionals interested in working on the development of exhibition architecture projects, the course offers an overview of the practice and its specificities, presented through lectures and design exercises based on real-world situations.

The College of Architects of Mexico City and the Society of Architects of Mexico invite you to their 7th International Congress, "Synchronizing Architecture," which will take place on October 1, 2020—Architects' Day—in a digital format from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM. We will witness a congress where leading national and international architects present their cutting-edge projects with ecological and technological sensitivity, adapting to this new reality.
