Following the conclusion of the first and second cycles of Viernes de Fábrica, which brought together over 1,000 students, architects, and professors from 20 countries over the course of 20 weeks, the belief that academia must now, more than ever, be linked to social issues to create School+Community projects is reaffirmed. Fábrica de Ciudad extends an invitation to continue exploring new ways to strengthen this exchange. We are pleased to announce the third cycle of Viernes de Fábrica, the final installment of the year, which will take place from October 16 to December 4.

From October 7 to 11, the 11th Patagonia Architecture Congress—40 Years will take place in Punta Arenas.

Niterói will host the exhibition "Let Limits Collapse, Let Forgotten Distances Appear," opening on October 5 at the Espaço Cultural Correios. Curated by Mario Camargo, the show offers an immersion into the artists' poetic universe, reflecting on freedom and providing a profound look at the human existential condition—specifically their own. The curator notes that "being an artist is a state whose meaning is composed of layers, material techniques, forms, and colors, in a constant overflow of sensations."

I. OBJECTIVES

Identify the best architectural works by architects in the state of Tabasco, as well as publications, research, and theses. Recognize their authors. Disseminate the most relevant works to allow, through analysis and critique, a reflection on responsible contemporary architecture with sustainable solutions.

During the design month held every October in Mexico City, Coolhuntermx, curated by Taina Campos and Andrea Soler, proposes a space to amplify the voices of women designers, architects, and all creatives. Although they are gradually reclaiming and occupying a place on the country's design exhibition platforms, there is still a long way to go to make our disciplines an equal and fair terrain for developing our practices.
