Factory Fridays | Cycle 03

Following the conclusion of the first and second cycles of Viernes de Fábrica, which brought together over 1,000 students, architects, and professors from 20 countries over the course of 20 weeks, the belief that academia must now, more than ever, be linked to social issues to create School+Community projects is reaffirmed. Fábrica de Ciudad extends an invitation to continue exploring new ways to strengthen this exchange. We are pleased to announce the third cycle of Viernes de Fábrica, the final installment of the year, which will take place from October 16 to December 4.

Exhibition "Boundaries Collapse, Forgotten Distances Emerge"

Niterói will host the exhibition "Let Limits Collapse, Let Forgotten Distances Appear," opening on October 5 at the Espaço Cultural Correios. The exhibition features Alberto Saraiva, Enéas Valle, Lígia Teixeira, Marilou Winograd, Mario Camargo, Mark Engel, Marcelo Palmar Rezende, and Petrillo. Curated by Mario Camargo, the show offers an immersion into the artists' poetic universe, reflecting on freedom and providing a profound look at the human existential condition—specifically their own. The curator notes that "being an artist is a state whose meaning is composed of layers, material techniques, forms, and colors, in a constant overflow of sensations."
