Public Architectural Design Competition for Social Housing (H.I.S.), Araraquara City Hall
The City of Araraquara, through the Executive Coordination of Housing and the Housing Projects Management office, both under the Secretariat of Urban Development, has opened registration for the "National Public Architectural Design Competition for Social Interest Housing." The competition aims to select designs based on pre-established criteria regarding technology, comfort, performance, and sustainability.

Firms not associated with AsBEA/RJ (new talent) must pay a registration fee of R$ 510.00. This is a one-time fee, regardless of the number of projects submitted to the awards. Should a non-associated firm choose to join the organization, the amount paid will be applied as a credit toward their membership dues.

The 10 selected projects will be exhibited at the Archtrends Summit 2023, which will take place at the Teatro Santander in São Paulo on September 5th.
Archtrends, the architecture and design portal by Portobello, has opened registration for the 3rd edition of its architecture competition. Interested participants must develop projects based on the theme "What's inside matters" and publish them on the Archtrends website between July 3 and August 7. The top 10 entries will be exhibited at Archtrends Summit 2023, an annual creativity forum hosted by Portobello, taking place at Teatro Santander in São Paulo on September 5. Public Call for projects to combat the COVID-19 pandemic
Emergency initiatives to combat the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic through architecture and urbanism are now eligible for funding from the CAU/SC. On Tuesday, May 26, the Council launched Public Call No. 01/2020, which allocates R$ 75,000 to projects benefiting families in socioeconomic vulnerability, specifically within the realms of Social Interest Housing and Education, Research, and Extension.
Architecture students submitting their final thesis projects or individual academic projects in the second semester of 2020, as well as recent graduates who submitted theirs in the first semester of 2020 or throughout 2019, have the opportunity to win awards for their work. They are eligible to participate in the second Jovem Talento da Arquitetura competition, organized by Minimum.
The CBCA Scientific Research Scholarship will provide a monthly stipend of R$ 1,000 for one year. The application and proposal submission period ends on November 28. The results will be announced on December 12.
