On Monday, March 26, 2018, the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) has launched the international design competition for the KFAS New Headquarters in Kuwait.

Overview

KFAS is inviting architects from all around the world to submit their application to enter this competition that is organized according to international standards.

The invitation is aimed equally at experienced and young architects, large and small offices. The highest degree of creativity, innovation, inspiration, sensitivity and commitment is expected.

Headquarters and convention center, two buildings with a net utilization area of 11,000 sqm each, and a master plan covering 60 hectares

The subject of the competition is the architectural and design concept of the new building of the State Autonomous Cultural Institution of the Sverdlovsk Region (Russia) “The Sverdlovsk Order of the Red Banner State Academic Philharmonic” with the adjacent territory. The competition is held in order to create a unique philharmonic complex in the city of Yekaterinburg that meets the international requirements for staging world-class musical events, as well as to identify options for functional planning, urban planning and landscape-architectural solutions by comparing and evaluating the submitted competitive materials to identify the best architectural and design solution that meets the

Two new international design competitions "Le 5 Stagioni" and "Storie di Farina" are dedicated to the evolution of Pizzerias and Spaces for Bread, in Italy and in the world, and to examining the relationship between tradition and innovation, between design and evolution of spaces.

The new international competitions are open to architects, designers, contract companies and entrepreneurs, with a prize money of Euros 15,000.
The International Competition Storie di Farina and the International Competition Le 5 Stagioni will award three bakeries and three pizzerias already made and operating.
