Few people know that Native Americans serve the U.S. armed forces at higher rates per capita than any other ethnic group and have served since the American Revolution. That is about to change. On Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. will begin accepting entries for designs for a National Native American Veterans Memorial to be built on the museum's grounds on the National Mall. The international competition is open to all; architects, artists, designers, students and anyone else who wants to submit a design.

Open Аir Ethnographic Museum "Etar" and the Municipality of Gabrovo with the support of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria and the Union of Architects in Bulgaria are announcing the National One-stage Anonymous Architectural Competition ETAR MUSEUM HOTEL. The main objective of the competition is to achieve an expert, transparent and motivated choice of a conceptual architectural project for reconstruction of the Strannopriemnitsa Hotel, part of the most visited group tourist destination in Bulgaria.

Architects, designers and sheet metal contractors are invited to submit their copper building projects for the 2018 North American Copper in Architecture (NACIA) awards program through January 31, 2018. Now in its 11th year, the program recognizes and promotes architectural copper and copper alloy structures in North America.

In 2008, the Copper Development Association (CDA) and the Canadian Copper & Brass Development Association (CCBDA) launched the NACIA awards program to highlight the innovative uses of architectural copper in the United States and Canada. Past NACIA winners include government buildings, libraries, museums, firehouses, educational buildings, private residences and places of worship.

No. 40103970752) announces an open competition of architecture and urban planning with invited participants for „Elaboration of the best conceptual vision for the spatial development of the “Kimmel” quarter in Riga” situated in Latvia, Riga, at 2 Bruņinieku Street and at 1 Stabu Street with the aim to obtain the best Design for the development of the territory of Kimmel quarter from town planning, architectonic, functional and economic perspectives.

Concéntrico 04, the International Architecture and Design Festival in Logroño, arose with the intention of prompting reflection on the city through proposals in architecture and design. The latest edition will be held from 27 April to 1 May 2018.

This competition proposes the creation of a temporary architectural intervention at Viña Lanciano at Bodegas LAN. This intervention will form part of other installations and the pavilion, all of which will be set up in different locations throughout the city’s historic downtown.

The convocation encompasses both the design of the intervention and its subsequent construction and disassembly by the winning team.

Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Ltd, under the aegis of Ministry of Railways, Government of India has launched an International Design Competition for selection of schemes and appointment of consultant for regeneration of Nagpur, Gwalior and Baiyappanhalli Stations on Indian Railway Network. Multidisciplinary teams of consultants can participate in this two-stage competition.

HOUSE IN FOREST is pleased to announce its second annual international design competition: House In Forest 2018 - Timber House. The CA’ASI association is organising an architectural competition highlighting the dynamics of the young Latin-American architecture. The best projects of this international competition open to young Latin-American architects will be exhibited in 2018 at the CA’ASI during the International Architecture Exhibition. This competition is a unique opportunity to underline the important role played by these countries today, reflected by the renewal of their architecture.
