We created DublDom so people could live closer to nature. It was designed to fit the harmony of any landscape and become a perfect frame for any wonderful view. In order to see the most beautiful place in the world from the DublDom window, we are ready to give it to the landowner absolutely free.

Glenn Howells Architects has a rich connection with the South West having designed many exciting and Award-winning projects across the region from RIBA National Award winning Gloucester Services to The Eye at Bristol, and the new Westonbirt Treetop Walkway.

RIBA Gloucestershire is delighted to welcome Glenn Howells to the county to reveal the stories behind some of these iconic and award-winning buildings and projects, and give us a glimpse into the ethos of the practice established 25 years ago that has won over 120 Awards.

The series will start next Friday, and the lectures will be every month up to June 2017 in Rome, at Casa dell’Architettura.
The participants - all born in the Eighties - will be paired in couples, in order to obtain an interesting dialogue in each and every meeting.

Three independent and yet interwoven series on the concept of order are presented by Christian Fessel on both floors of the Infostation.

Civil and social justice are the two most important fundamentals of human rights. The issues unequal civil rights and social injustice are not confined to a particular region and country but are a global phenomenon. These issues are a result of unequal resource distribution and unfair treatment of individuals with different traits i.e. race, culture, sexual orientation etc. Civil unrest broods violence and forces retaliation against the segregation and unfair laws and rules. The issues of civil and social injustice are more complex as they involve a wide category of issues such as a racial profiling, LGBT rights, equal opportunities (jobs and healthcare), ageism, criminal justice, freedom of speech, social security, immigration, internet privacy, bullying etc. 
The importance of civil rights still remains a non-issue at the global level. The champions of civil rights and social justice are often portrayed as enemies of the state, to hide the government inefficiencies. 

Join us at Midori House in London’s Marylebone for this live edition of Section D, Monocle 24’s weekly design radio show. Opinionated guests from the worlds of typography, graphic design, journalism and architecture join Section D host Josh Fehnert to reflect on their careers and London’s status as a design city and offer some resolution on that age-old question: "What is good design?"

Experiences are intrinsically composed by the tangible and intangible architectures that trigger the senses. It is through this delicate exchange of sensory information that we create lasting impressions from space, objects and interactions. What new exchanges can we envision and suggest through meaningful design? We invite design thinkers to envision new modalities for exchange.

Propose an innovative “skin” in which humans could interact with their surrounding environments and everyday activities through the different intertwined senses. The proposed “skin”/ product could be at any scale and serve any function that the designer envisions.
