Danica O. Kus has been documenting Serpentine Pavilions since 2009. In her photography work, she illustrates the uniqueness of each pavilion, the new architecture, and design that people can experience.

IsArch is a non-profit organization, originally formed by architecture students and young architects, and directed to this same public. For the past 8 years we have been organizing a competition for architecture students, with the aim of promoting an international debate on the future of architecture. Academic projects from all over the world are put on display, side by side, and are being voted by a prestigious jury and also, the online community.

The island: between utopia and metaphor for reality

The island summarises the double value inherent in the utopia:
- On the one hand "it generates tension towards news horizons, an aspiration that is well suited to the mentality of the utopist in conflict with his world" (Fortunati 1995a: 199-205).
- On the other hand, in its realization, closure and limitation: metaphysically, and ontologically, everything is contained in the island, a space that always refers to itself, and thus becomes an obsession.

/narratives/ publication is an annual print publication with a quarterly digital output, narratives features architectural projects, products, places and people tapping into the contemporary built environment in Ghana and abroad.

Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture was established in 2011, it’s targeting the architectural, urban, and technical aspects of mosques all over the world, and it will be awarded to the related designer/architect.

Periferica is an international festival of urban regeneration that will take place in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, from 27 July to 5 August. SCI-Arc's B.Arch thesis students recently presented their final thesis projects at the 2018 B.Arch Thesis Reviews, aimed at fostering discussion, debate, and mapping out new directions for architecture. The culmination of the school's five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) curriculum, the year-long thesis program challenges the next generation of designers to take clear positions, form new perspectives regarding existing challenges, and conceive solutions for issues that architects will face in the future.

The Compostela Architecture summer program ( July 3rd - July 20th) assembles architects, designers, urbanists, theorists and artists from Asia, America, and Europe for an immersive study abroad course in architecture and urban design. Its home base is Santiago de Compostela, the medieval city and pilgrimage destination in Galicia, northwest Spain. Students also take day trips to other cities in the region such as A Coruña and Porto, as well as to the ecologically rich “Rias” or estuaries of the Spanish northwest.
