The Summer School is one of the initiatives undertaken by El Asunto Urbano, a platform created to explore, analyze, discuss, and generate proposals regarding the relationship between art, architecture, and urban spaces.

Consolidated as one of the most significant events hosted by the Escola da Cidade – Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, the International Seminar reaches its 13th edition with the theme "Architecture is a way of knowing." Each year, for one week, prestigious national and international guests from the field of architecture and urbanism participate in debates, workshops, and activities involving students, faculty, and the public interested in exploring contemporary issues in the field. This year's event takes place from February 24 to March 2 at the Escola da Cidade campus and various SESC SP units. The opening session, which is open to the public, will feature a conversation with architects Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Solano Benítez (Paraguay), and Cristiane Muniz (São Paulo).

The Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft (Netherlands) will offer a new online course on the edX digital platform, focusing on urban challenges in emerging countries.

Titled “Rethink the City: New Approaches to Global and Local Urban Challenges,” the course aims to address urban challenges in emerging countries, offering a new perspective to understand and analyze the Global South. Accordingly, the curriculum is structured around three thematic pillars: “Spatial Justice,” “Housing Provision and Management,” and “Urban Resilience.”

The book "Anales de Arquitectura 2017-2018" will be presented next Tuesday, November 6, at 7:00 PM in the FADEU Auditorium.

For the second consecutive year, OH! Stgo (Open House Santiago) invites you to explore and rediscover our city through a free event that offers access to spaces usually closed to the public, ranging from sites of high architectural and engineering value to those of environmental, urban, social, or cultural significance.

EstereoEnsaios São Paulo is a film-essay that revives the spirit of the "City Symphony" films of the silent era within the 21st-century digital stereographic context. The film is composed as a musical symphony intended to engage in a dialogue with the 1929 film São Paulo, Sinfonia da Metrópole.

The call for proposals is now open for SOPA18: The 6th International Congress on the Socialization of Heritage in Rural Environments, held in conjunction with the seminar "Natural Heritage: Community Management and Defense Processes." The event will take place from November 11 to 17, 2018, in Olmué and Valparaíso, Chile.

The headquarters building of the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) is the subject of the latest exhibition at MAB-FAAP. The show highlights the work of the French architect Auguste Perret, one of the most significant figures in architecture during the first half of the 20th century.

The exhibition "The Place of Art: Iconic Architectural Works Dedicated to Art" will open on Thursday, June 7, at 7:30 PM at the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Parque Forestal, Santiago, Chile, and will run until June 17.
