The Federal University of Piauí Press (EdUFPI), in partnership with the Teresina Municipal Government, is hosting the launch of the book "Acácio Gil Borsoi: produção arquitetônica moderna em Teresina" on October 30, 2018, at 6:00 PM, at the Clube dos Diários, in downtown Teresina, Piauí.

The Integrated Master in Architectural Design at the University of Santiago is a postgraduate academic program designed to train excellent professionals in the field of architectural and urban design, with an emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Launched last year in Spain and presented internationally for the first time in Milan, Italy, during Milan Design Week, the Arquitetura em Curtas initiative is a series of short films on innovation and trends in contemporary architecture. Its goal: to promote video as a medium for narrating architectural processes.

The 10th Scientific Initiation Symposium will take place on October 30 and 31. Submissions for presentation will be accepted until August 3.

Forensic Architecture (FA) is a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London. They conduct advanced architectural and media investigations on behalf of international human rights organizations, as well as political and environmental justice groups.
Forensic architecture is also an emerging academic field developed at Goldsmiths that concerns the production and presentation of architectural evidence, such as buildings, urban environments, and their media representations.

Drawing from the theme "In Project" of the 11th Architecture Biennial, the firm SIAA Arquitetos Associados reflects on the potential for alternative relationships between architectural design, the built environment, and its public occupation over time, whether anticipated or not. To this end, they use the Centro Cultural São Paulo building—designed by architects Eurico Prado Lopes and Luiz Telles—as the foundation for their reflection, and not by coincidence.

A workshop on building structural models, led by professors Roberto Alfredo Pompéia and Maria Rosa Almeida, will take place on October 23. Registration is open. Free of charge.
