The Federal University of Piauí Press (EdUFPI), in partnership with the Teresina Municipal Government, is hosting the launch of the book "Acácio Gil Borsoi: produção arquitetônica moderna em Teresina" on October 30, 2018, at 6:00 PM, at the Clube dos Diários, in downtown Teresina, Piauí.
The book documents the work of Acácio Gil Borsoi, one of the most significant architects in the historiography of architecture in Northeast Brazil, through textual, visual, and design-based records. It presents fragments of the life, academic background, and professional career of this master, with an emphasis on his architectural production in Teresina, the capital of Piauí, where he left an undeniable legacy defined by architectural works, heritage interventions, and urban complexes.
