He completed his professional studies in Architecture (ITESM, 1996). A self-taught photographer with a deep admiration for architecture, he founded "Idea Cúbica" in 1996, a firm specializing in architectural photography and advertising for architects, which he currently directs.
In 2007, he pursued a master’s degree in "Architectural Photography in the Digital Era" at The Workshops in Rockport, Maine, taught by Norman McGrath. He was selected for the "Contemporary Photography Program" (PFC '11) in Monterrey, organized by the Centro de la Imagen / CONARTE.
His work has been featured in specialized architecture and photography magazines and books, including Architectural Record, Wired, Celeste, Ojo de Pez, Arquitectura Viva, Interior Design, H.O.ME., Arquine, DOC Photo Magazine, and Enlace, among others, as well as on news outlets such as the BBC, Univision, and El Universal.
His project "Alta Densidad" has been exhibited in several countries, including Mexico, Spain, Brazil, and Germany, at events such as PhotoEspaña, the X São Paulo Architecture Biennale, and the Triennial of Photography in Hamburg.

The lecture offers an overview of the most significant works by the firm MOARQS, focusing on the concepts that inform its practice and its engagement with both the professional and academic worlds. The firm’s practice is rooted in a constructive approach that fosters an architecture free of preconceptions—one that emerges from the arrangement of specific materials in a particular order, combined with "art" to achieve an intense poetics through an economy of resources.

In 2018, Bolivia will host an edition of ELEA (Latin American Meeting of Architecture Students) for the first time. This annual event is organized by the Latin American Coordinator of Architecture Students (CLEA) in collaboration with IBEA (Bolivian Integration of Architecture Students) and will feature ArchDaily en Español as a media partner.

To be held in the city of Santa Cruz, the XXXIII ELEA Organizing Committee has simultaneously launched an open call for students and young architects from Latin America to participate in the XI Latin American Student Architecture Biennial (XI BAEL), themed "Identity, Customs, and Traditions."

The TERRABRASIL congresses provide an opportunity to foster the study, dissemination, and development of earth architecture and construction in the country, while also strengthening relationships and facilitating the exchange of information and experience among practitioners and interested parties. By bringing this edition to Rio de Janeiro, the goal is to encourage the creation of research groups and centers in this field, which remain scarce in the region.

The Instituto Cremme launched an artistic competition for students of Architecture and Urbanism, Design, Photography, Communication, and Fine Arts in the State of São Paulo, within the context of the exhibition "Experimenting with Le Corbusier - Contemporary Interpretations of Modernism." The concept behind the A0 Brief was to invite participants to reflect on Le Corbusier, modernism, and their legacy in contemporary Brazil, and to materialize this discussion through the A0 format.

This Tuesday, October 23, the Medellín Museum of Art will host the launch of Anfitrión, a new book featuring the work of architect Felipe Uribe de Bedout. This publication compiles the work of architect Felipe Uribe de Bedout over the past thirty years. This comprehensive book serves as both a compendium of his built work and an archive of his daily practice.

Published by Mesa Estándar, Anfitrión / Host presents Felipe Uribe’s work in extensive detail, blending photographs, drawings, and architectural concepts with images and notes on his daily life, passions, habits, and core principles. This biographical publication functions as both a project catalog and a personal archive.

The project is defined as a space for contemporary architecture and sculpture, open to research and the critical practice of these disciplines within the city. It is located in a warehouse complex totaling 4,500 square meters, originally built for textile manufacturing workshops and wooden furniture production.

The structure consists of reinforced masonry walls with curved metal roofing—featuring columns and trusses—in one block, and gabled wooden roofing—featuring columns and oak trusses—in the other.

The Wolf House is a stop-motion feature film project developed by artists Cristóbal León and Joaquín Cociña, which premiered at the 68th Berlinale.

Against this backdrop, and following six years of production, an exhibition is opening at the Centro Cultural GAM just days before the film's public release. The show combines elements of the film's art with an architectural installation.

As the title suggests, the film takes place in "a house," making the relationship between art and architecture a central theme of the work. Consequently, León and Cociña commissioned architect and artist Iván Bravo to design an architectural piece that reinterprets the film's spatial atmosphere.

As part of the 4th edition of the Arq Film Fest, the exhibition "The Image of the Architect" will be held in the south corridor of the historic building, presented by Luis Miguel Arana—KLAUS, a special guest of the event.

On October 9 at 7:00 PM, the foundation stone for Gustavo Penna 73/23 - 50 Years of Architecture, Design, and Word will be laid at Cidad3 in São Paulo. This long-term project, conceived by a team of professors from PUC Poços de Caldas and sponsored by Gerdau and Deca, includes the publication of books, workshops, competitions, a multimedia platform, and an exhibition. These activities anticipate the architect's five-decade career milestone, which will be reached in 2023.

Titled “Exceptional Architecture – The Brazil Pavilion at Expo ’70 Osaka,” the exhibition introduces the public to little-known aspects of this important work by Paulo Mendes da Rocha.

Tsinghua University established the Tsinghua University Architectural Design & Research Institute (THAD) in 1958 as a platform for architectural education and academic research, serving the development and construction of the newly founded republic. In 2018, THAD celebrated its 60th anniversary. Over these six decades, the institute has navigated the shifts and turns of the nation's social and economic development, serving as a witness to the evolution of modern Chinese architectural design. To mark this milestone, THAD and the Tsinghua University School of Architecture are co-hosting the "60 Years of Tsinghua Design Practice" event. This initiative invites professionals and institutions from across the Chinese architectural community to join in a series of exhibitions, forums, lectures, and publications. These activities aim to review the institute's development, reflect on the progress of Chinese architectural design over the past 60 years, and share research, practice, and insights, with the goal of continuing to serve the nation and advancing architectural scholarship and practice.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of THAD, the Tsinghua Design Academic Week will be held on October 25, 2018. The event will feature domestic academicians such as He Jingtang, Wang Jianguo, and Meng Jianmin, alongside international guests including COOP HIMMELB(L)AU and UNStudio. Concurrently, the exhibition "6X10: A History of Modern Architecture at a University Design Institute" will officially open.

"ENERGY THINKING" is a space designed to bring together disciplines such as architecture, engineering, urban planning, and design, alongside business leaders. The goal is to establish dialogues, projects, and educational activities that promote greater knowledge and awareness of renewable energy in our country.

The Andes Workshop is a collaborative workshop for students and faculty from around the world. Founded in 2017, it will once again be led by Chilean architects Cazú Zegers + Grupo Talca, Rodrigo Sheward, and Martin del Solar.

The colloquium aims to bring together, for the first time in Colombia, professionals involved in the research, dissemination, registration, documentation, and conservation of construction history in Colombia and Ibero-America to showcase the state of the art in the field. The First CASUS Seminar | Sustainability in the Built Environment is a free, open event where key industry-linked organizations, such as Construye Solar, the UC Wood Innovation Center, and SymbiosisARQ, will share their expertise and offer new perspectives on the challenges the built environment must address to achieve sustainability.

In conjunction with the 15th Madrid Architecture Week, the Norman Foster Foundation presents Architecture on Screen, a film series curated by the foundation for Sala Equis in the Spanish capital.

Since the early 20th century, both architecture and film have found ways to express new ideas and develop avant-garde languages. Avant-garde movements, such as Futurism, established a close link between art, film, and architecture. As seen in the drawings of Sant'Elia, they convey the concept of the industrial city, moving trains, and buildings inspired by hydroelectric power plants, using the machine as a metaphor.
