The Colombian Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism is a cultural and academic event organized by the Colombian Society of Architects. Its objective is to select the most significant works and projects across various fields of architecture carried out within the national territory, completed within the five (5) years prior to the call for entries, with the aim of showcasing and evaluating their achievements, while promoting them on both a national and international level.

The fifth edition of the Cities Connection Project, in collaboration with Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures, will be presented in Brussels as a dual exhibition addressing the reuse of existing spaces, mixed-use developments, and reconstruction in Wallonia-Brussels and Barcelona.

Architecture and Industrial Design are disciplines that have defined key moments in history, serving as inspiration, materialization, and the backdrop for events, ideas, and identities. To adapt to and influence the shifting social, cultural, and technological conditions of humanity, these disciplines must constantly reinvent themselves.

Registration is now open for the third cohort of the Insper Executive Education short course, "Urban Innovation: New Ways of Shaping Cities," in partnership with Arq.Futuro. With a 40-hour curriculum starting on October 1st, the course aims to help train citizens capable of interpreting the reality of urban spaces and adopting a critical stance on the future of cities.

We invite you to participate in the first National Meeting of Future Urbanists (ENUM), to be held on October 8 and 9 at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Chile. This meeting is organized by graduates of the Master of Urbanism program and sponsored by the Postgraduate Department and the Postgraduate School of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the same institution.

The Mundaneum XII_re_UNIÓN International Architecture: Necessary Architectures and Cities: re_THINKING Architecture and Urbanism in Latin America will take place at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Granada (ETSAG), Spain, on October 3, 4, and 5, 2018, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the re_UNIÓN's founding (1998-2018).

This is an open call for projects and publications completed during the four years preceding each Biennial, with five categories open to the American continent and one open worldwide.

This is what the letters from these Peruvian architects do, as they express their feelings and expectations regarding the newly elected mayor’s office. After the silence of the previous mayor, we have not lost hope for a dialogue toward a beautiful Lima.

This exhibition invites architects, urban planners, designers, and multidisciplinary creative teams to submit proposals focused on improving the environment and quality of life in our capital. Participation in the exhibition is open via a public call for project submissions or by direct invitation from the curatorial committee. Proposals may consist of unrealizable utopian concepts that are purely fictional, or feasible solutions to concrete challenges with real-world application potential. The projects' narrative covers a wide range of themes, including housing, public space, mobility, the environment, heritage preservation, neighborhood revitalization, and urban infrastructure. They address the architect's mission beyond merely building objects, instead integrating a responsibility toward a sustainable environment that builds better communities, based on the principle that good design is holistic.

In the year marking the 20th anniversary of its founding, the Order of Architects is hosting the 15th Congress of Architects on October 25, 26, and 27 at the Arade Congress Center in Lagoa, Algarve.

This discussion aims to create a space for proactive dialogue, featuring various guest speakers alongside students and the general public, to address pressing issues regarding the city's future challenges.
We have invited four professionals who have led the coordination necessary to bring projects that foster social integration to fruition. The goal is for them to present each project as an example of urban best practice. Despite varying scales of intervention and diverse target users, these projects share a common thread: they serve as proactive contributions to the discussion on current and future urban challenges.
