The purpose of this competition is to challenge Architects and Students to design a replacement for the Townsite Homes in Henderson, NV, which have outlived their intended use and have mostly fallen into disrepair, creating neighborhood blight. The project should fully embody the principles of sustainable design and livable communities. It is the responsibility of the entrants to determine the number of new dwellings on the site, or re-purpose the existing home. The only city requirement is to provide a single parking space per dwelling. Please visit the competition website for information on Henderson, the Townsite, and how to enter.

Crime, whether we like it or not, is a driving force behind a large proportion of technological ‘progress’. In 1817, a burglary at a British dockyard led the government to start a competition, challenging locksmiths to invent an unpickable lock. The result was the Chubb detector lock, and it remained ‘unpicked’ for 33 years.
We invite you to come envision the unseen future of humanity on Moon. We call you to imagine and create the first human habitation outside of earths perimeter and celebrate the golden age of space exploration.
Ever since the beginning of mankind, we have developed an unexplained affinity towards the various celestial bodies around us, our captivation being held by the moon at the center of all of it. This fascination is visible right from humankind's illustrations in the caves from thousands of years ago to our latest works in literature, astronomy, astrology, architecture and many other fields of studies. Our love for moon and race to explore new horizons, we have created history in the mid 20th century, with the first steps of mankind on the lunar surface. This drive and fascination for the moon have led us to believe that it could be the next destination for humans.

Do you love to travel? Of course, you do! We’d give away anything just to hit the road. Did you know that around the world, road networks transport 50% of all goods and 70% of total passenger traffic in most countries?
Well, India happens to pride herself for having the second largest road network in the world - almost 5.5 million kilometers of paths.
We’ve got some fabulous scenic routes all over the country and the geographical palette just adds to the beauty. Steady development on our road networks has perked the average urban wanderers into frequenting longer, lovelier routes.
And thus, we need our old reliable watering holes all the more: the stopovers, the eateries, the filling stations to rest, feed, refresh and refuel. Each becoming a vital part of highway infrastructure.
