EL ASUNTO URBANO, in collaboration with the MUSEO TAMAYO, presents the third edition of SUMMER SCHOOL, a training program that seeks to foster transdisciplinary practice in the design of projects that intersect visual arts, literature, architecture, and urbanism. The program takes the urban environment and the various possibilities of city-making, citizenship, and memory as its starting point.

Adpprentice has launched a new academic-professional bridge program for recent graduates, in which participants are integrated into a design team at an internationally renowned architecture firm. Participants join at a level typically reserved for senior architects or even firm principals. They will gain full-time professional experience, actively participating in the design processes required to execute a real project, from its theoretical conception to the production of presentation materials meeting international standards.

From Thursday, July 25, through October 2019, LIGA, Space for Architecture, will present the intervention titled Tórax by the Mexican firm Escobedo Soliz. The opening will be accompanied by a lecture on Thursday, July 25, at 7:30 PM at LIGA, Calle Doctor Erazo, Colonia Doctores, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, 06720, Mexico City.

Campus central CU. Lecturas de un patrimonio vivo is a collection of 19 booklets documenting the history of the buildings that make up the original campus of UNAM’s Ciudad Universitaria.

Drawing on his expertise and experience, Diego González Alanis invites us to recognize our responsibility to make informed decisions that leverage landscape architecture to improve the city's quality of life and functionality. In his presentation, "The Power of Urban Nature," Diego explores the opportunity provided by this discipline—which complements architecture—to integrate nature in a useful and functional way. He highlights the potential to restore ecosystems degraded by urbanization and construction, while simultaneously fostering local wildlife development.
