The creative process in design through which one arrives at the realisation of the object is the theme of MCA Design's exhibition 'L'atelier del Design: oggetti, materiali, esperienze', hosted at the Milan headquarters of MCA - Mario Cucinella Architects. The exhibition occupies the first of the three levels of the old Opificio from the 1930s, now a creative breeding ground for architects, engineers, designers, and the young professionals attending the SOS - School of Sustainability master course.

On the occasion of the publication of the book "The Wood That Makes Our Cities", François Leclercq and Paul Laigle, architects and urban planners, Michèle Leloup, journalist, Cyrille Weiner, photographer and editorial director, Jad Hussein, artistic director, Marie-Hélène Contal, director of cultural development, and Serge Gros, architect, teacher and researcher, ex-director of the CAUE in Grenoble, discuss the state of the French forest, the wood sector and its R&D.

This inaugural edition of the West Africa Architecture Biennale themed Endangered Heritage is a follow up to our last held public panel which you attended on Friday 31 July 2020.
West Africa Architecture Biennale is an international biennale organized by the A3-Archnet Collaborative to foster and grow an academic and professional community around the intellectual preservation of under researched, underexposed, and underrecognized architecture in Western
Africa. The biennale serves as a forum to collect and share documentation of obscure and lesser-known modes and styles of architectural heritage as formal objects, in addition to studies of the cultural factors that contribute to their non-canonical attributes and status. At the end of 2021, Lithuanian citizenship was restored to one of the most respected international architects – Massimiliano Fuksas. To celebrate this significant event to the whole Lithuanian architecture community, Kaunas University of Technology together with Studio Fuksas are organising a remote open lecture of Massimiliano Fuksas, entitled “Architecture and Innovation”. The lecture will be held on February 10 (17:00 LT, UTC+2; 16:00 IT, UTC+1) and will be followed by a panel discussion of Mr Fuksas and colleagues from the KTU Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
