Conde City Hall launches national competition for the design of a Basic Health Unit in the Gurugi quilombola community

On Monday (March 11), the City of Conde launched the call for entries for a National Public Competition to select the architectural design for a Basic Health Unit (UBS) in the Gurugi quilombola community. "Living Streets" Project: Call for temporary interventions in São Paulo's North Zone

The call for entries is now open for independent professionals, teams, collectives, or architecture and urbanism firms to develop a temporary intervention project in the vicinity of Praça Santo Eduardo, Vila Maria – North Zone of São Paulo.

The "Ruas Vivas" project, developed by the Institute of Architects of Brazil – São Paulo Department (IABsp) in partnership with the São Paulo Commercial Association (ACSP), aims to implement temporary interventions on three different streets in São Paulo to transform public space in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RADICAL 2030: Spring 22 Call for Entries

The Paris Agreement is an international treaty on climate change. Adopted by 196 countries in Paris on December 12, 2015, it entered into force on November 4, 2016. Its goal is to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius—preferably 1.5 degrees—compared to pre-industrial levels. To achieve this long-term temperature goal, countries aim to peak greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible to achieve a climate-neutral planet by mid-century. This entails reducing domestic greenhouse gas emissions by at least 40% by 2030 relative to 1990 levels.

Design Competition for the Architecture Awards Sculpture

The Spanish Council of Architects (CSCAE) has launched a competition for the design of the sculpture to be awarded to the winners of the Architecture Awards. COMPAC, as the official sponsor of the awards, will provide participants with the materials to create the piece. The design must be original, and the competition is open to architects and multidisciplinary teams of artists and designers working in collaboration with architects. The deadline for submitting proposals is April 22. The winner will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros.
