MICRO was born in 2020 as a reflective process that identified the artistic potential brewing within architecture schools that had remained anonymous, aiming, furthermore, to encourage all students to broaden their horizons beyond the purely architectural. Ultimately, it seeks to collect and host all works produced under the proposed theme in a single exhibition that showcases the artistic talent of architecture schools. The success and quality of the works that comprised the first and second editions have reaffirmed and confirmed the hypothesis of this expanding project.
This creates a meeting point, a unique space for coexistence and equality where all members and generations of the schools engage in dialogue through their work. Works must be unique and original. The technique used is entirely free; hand-drawn, computer-generated, or mixed-media proposals are all accepted. The final result will be a work in any of the three provided formats.
