Deadline Extended: Micro Housing 2022 Architecture Competition

“HOME” is a space that is intimate to all living beings on the planet. It has a broader, deeper and personal connection with its user apart from being a physical shelter for humans and their daily lives, a home forms a distinct, intimate connection with its users. The ultimate goal for a home is to ignite “the idea of belonging” within its sphere and amongst all those sharing the space.

Salon d'Art XR with jury Greg Lynn, HUO, Quayola

Please take a look at what www.nf-architecture.io launches. Architectural competition for a Salon d'Art XR. Extended reality needs to become more than nice renderings and simple copy of reality in virtuality. What is the sense of architecture in virtual worlds and what can architects produce and implement that goes beyond game design? I am sure we will get super interesting ideas from our students and that architecture and it's meaning and power goes far beyond what we see with classical architects going viral. Virtual reality is not a marketing hub. And architects therefor should not abuse it as such but implement basic ideas of architecture adapted to the gained freedom of not being bound to real life. Shelter, expression of ideas, form defined by use, all these criteria still exist and these are the challenges in any world.

Tubądzin Design Awards 2022

#life #culture #human
At TDA, we make sure that the rules of the competition are transparent, the jury criteria are objective and the benefits offered to the winners are valuable. Our goal is to build a community that follows the challenges imposed by modern world and at the same time is able to meet global challenges.
For this reason, the 4th edition of the TDA competition is guided by three hashtags:
#life - Technological and urban developments and a changing climate continually present us with challenges that we want to face up to. Because life is a series of superimposed and interdependent processes, our goal is to design spaces for communities that meet these needs. The role of architects and designers is to change the world by creating everyday life - that's what #life is for us.

Architecture is, by vocation, a subjective matter where typically commission decisions are made on design style and ethos. There is rarely a wrong or right solution. Therefore it is important to have a strong understanding of your company values before submitting for projects. At Simone de Gale Architects, work is won through a number of procurement routes and offering a range of services for potential clients. I interviewed Simone to find out more about her client acquisition efforts and business development, as he runs a smaller but very successful practice in one of the most desirable parts of London- Belgravia. Simone will also speak about this particular topic at Disrupt Symposium taking place this spring 1-5th May 19:00 CET virtually. You can purchase your early bird tickets by visiting the event website
