Engineered Wood Floor - Layered Oak | Dinesen

Dinesen Oak Layers offers high-quality engineered floors. The planks are constructed using three layers of solid wood. The result offers a long-lasting plank with a thick wear layer of 6 millimeters/0.2 inches.

• The top layer - consists of the finest solid oak matching the thickness of Dinesen's solid plank floors.
  
  
• The middle layer - is transverse and consists of finger-jointed offcuts of oak or ash from the production of Dinesen's solid planks. Oak and ash supplement each other in hardness and strength, and the utilization of both wood types contributes to the durability and sustainability of the plank.
  
  
• The bottom layer - of the plank consists either of solid oak or finger-jointed offcuts in oak or ash, like the middle layer. Thus, the underside may vary in expression from one plank to another.

  Raw wood is sourced from sustainable forestry. This includes forests in Germany and other European countries where forestry has been based on sustainable principles for centuries.
