Solid Ash Wood Floors in Modular Circle House | Dinesen

Solid Ash wooden flooring from Dinesen was used in the Modular Circle House office building. Situated North of Copenhagen, the design is inspired by the landscape and climate. Inside, the use of natural materials aims to create a new type of working environment that is stimulating to the senses and promotes well-being.

Concept Design

Designed by the architecture firm Studio Pneuma, the new office building has a unique focus on the conditions of nature. Influenced by the surrounding landscape, climate, wind, and light the design incorporates sensuous qualities and well-being in both the exterior and the interior architecture. The result is a working environment that puts the mind at ease and provides an inspiring and stimulating setting for work. The circular form maximizes the scenic views and captures the natural light. The interior is shaped by soft arcs enclosed with transparent glass walls and curtains.

Ash Flooring

Solid Ash wood flooring from Dinesen is used throughout the space. Bespoke floor solutions enhance the modular building concept, with wedge-shaped planks tying the rooms together in both visual and constructive terms. The wood also supports Studio Pneuma’s focus on the flourishing trend of creating architecture and buildings that promote well-being.
