Casa Segura 1124 / Primer Piso Arquitectos

The Segura 1124 building is located on a 165m2 lot, on a narrow and busy street in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, in a low-rise residential area undergoing transformation and densification. A municipal particularity of the lot acts as a conditioner of the project, aiming to avoid affecting the block's core in the last two meters towards the rear of the lot.

Marea Residential Complex / WORKac

Marea is a multi-family development on the Mediterranean just outside the city of Batroun, one of the oldest cities in the world. Our project investigates density by combining an approach towards shared circulation and infrastructure with the construction of private terraces featuring extraordinary views.

House S / Yonder – Architektur und Design

With Haus S, a couple from Berlin wanted to realize their vision of a house that grows. Planned in the first step as a holiday home on a small budget, at a later stage it was to be expanded into a retirement residence. Under a roof that was conceived as a kind of extended raised hide with a fantastic view of the mountains, further floors were to be added gradually.

LL Inhouse / Arcieri Arquitectura

LL Inhouse is a collective housing project in the city of Montevideo. It is located in a central and prominent location in the Pocitos neighborhood, surrounded by services and close to urban mobility axes such as the Montevideo promenade - the most important public space in the city that unifies its entire coastline - but in an immediate environment of great tranquility that maintains the neighborhood scale, making it a very privileged point.

Tiny House / Cazú Zegers Arquitectura

The Tiny House project arises from the commission to propose a small neighborhood in the commune of Lo Barnechea (Santiago), which would be named after Pueblo La Dehesa. Under contemporary and sustainable eaves, it was asked to design a small town composed of three typologies of prefabricated and small housing. Type A house, 24.5 m2, considers a bedroom and a bathroom, the second B -type B, 69.02 m2, includes two bedrooms and a single bath. Finally, type C, 63 m2 housing, consisted of two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The house is located in La Calera, at the foot of the Cordoba mountains, about 10 km from the capital city, formerly a satellite city, now absorbed by the urban sprawl of Córdoba. The topography defines the proposal and the house is part of the landscape, it is located in the highest sector of the area with excellent views of the city, the large mountains, and the west.

San Ignacio House / Amarillo Amate Arquitectura

Casa San Ignacio is in a small town north of Jalisco, México, on a property that used to have the remains of an old traditional adobe house, typical of this part of the state. This project was conceived to create a home that pays homage to this kind of construction, characterized by their clear and solid volumes, lined up to the sidewalk and closed to the outside but still communicating with the interior through a passageway colloquially known as a “zaguán”, which allows for the occasional glimpse inside the house.

Elementary School in Santa Cruz de Villacuri Community / Betsaida Curto Reyes + Atelier Ander Bados

Villacuri is the result of an invasion that began 25 years ago, made up mainly of immigrants from the mountains and jungle. It is, for the most part, an area of temporary housing with hardly any urban planning. It is located in the Peruvian desert, halfway between Ica and Paracas and next to the Panamericana Sur highway.

MimMim Villa / On Architects Inc.

There are many places for accommodation along the coast from Busan to Pohang. Jinha Beach has long lost the prosperity of the past, and now fewer people visit it than the surrounding beaches. The project was to plan a small self-contained pool villa that would be no typical tourist destination but provide a new experience that people cannot experience in other neighboring beach resorts. It was thought that it would act as a small architectural device that could revitalize this aging beach scenery rather than destroy the natural scenery.

Created for Desert X AlUla 2022 in Saudi Arabia, Under the Same Sun examines the tangled web between the sun, its material reality, and the energy, images, and forms that it produces. This multimedia installation developed by Canadian artist Stephanie Deumer features a greenhouse of native plants submerged in an underground cavernous space.
