2. Purpose of the Competition This competition is as a part of “the innovative project for the complex urban space” and “Supplying 80,000 public housing units plan” by the city of Seoul. The purpose of this competition is to obtain a innovative architectural design for the complex development for 「modernization for the existing bus garage (enhance the functionality)」, 「Regional amenity facilities (Living SOC))」 and 「public housing specialized for the youth and newly married couple (Happy house) using the ‘Jangji’ public bus site
(1) Competition Title Daegu Kansong Art Museum International Design Competition
(2) Purpose As the first domestic permanent exhibition space of the Kansong Art Museum, the Daegu Kansong Art Museum is expected to serve not only as an archive of our national cultural heritage, but also as a national cultural landmark. Hence, it is the aim of this design competition to select an exceptional design for the museum.

Competing in this year’s 15th annual Multi Comfort Student Contest, Saint-Gobain had over 2,200 students from 199 universities worldwide. The final was narrowed down to 60 competing teams from 34 countries, all of whom traveled to Milan to present their designs to an international panel of experts from the Municipality of Milan. This year’s brief was to design a project to rehabilitate and reconnect the urban area around Crescenzago subway station in Milan in line with the city’s #milano2030 development plan. Five years ago, Raw Design,Ferris + Associates and Curio founded the Winter Stations Design Competition to bring innovative design concepts to Toronto’s beaches in the winter months. This year, four designs were selected from hundreds of submissions and will be joined by two student submissions to dot the beachfront alongside vacant lifeguard stations.
