CineCubo is the film club hosted by the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB) with the goal of fostering dialogue between audiovisual and architectural languages and debating perspectives on the city. On the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM, CineCubo screens films followed by a discussion at the IAB-SP headquarters. The KÖMMERLING Challenge is KÖMMERLING’s major initiative to contribute to a shift in the construction model, accommodating high-energy-efficiency projects with a viable construction budget by integrating the most efficient and innovative construction techniques. The vision of the KÖMMERLING Challenge is built on several pillars: the training of architects; the use of new methodologies that consider not only construction solutions but also processes and workflows; and placing special emphasis on project certification and its various phases.
