The inaugural "MA Awards 2022" seek to promote and highlight the work of contemporary women architects in Chile. To this end, the awards feature two categories: Emerging and Established. Both categories aim to identify and recognize architectural production in areas such as housing, public architecture, urbanism, landscape, and others. The awards seek to promote built works across Chile developed by women architects, thereby increasing the visibility of architecture within the country and showcasing its diversity.

Following the success of the first edition of the Jaime Lerner Scholarship in 2021, the IAAC, in partnership with the Uruguayan firm Gómez Platero Arquitectura & Urbanismo, is launching the second edition of the Jaime Lerner Scholarships. This year, the scholarship is offered to professionals from all Latin American countries to pursue our Online Master in Cities: The Proximity Urbanism for the 2022/2023 academic year. In doing so, the sponsors reinforce their commitment to supporting early-career architects in their efforts to specialize and effectively contribute to better cities in their respective countries.

TRANSFER Global Architecture Platform is launching the TRANSFER Architecture Video Award 2019, an independent prize recognizing the most creative and innovative videos in the fields of architecture, the city, and landscape on an international level.

As part of the implementation of a renovated public space in Villa El Salvador, Lima, a public call has been issued for artists, muralists, and the general public to participate, submit their designs, and apply to the Participatory Mural Competition. The winning design will be installed in the Edilberto Ramos area (VES).

For the fourth time, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale presents the Début Award, aimed at an individual or studio in the early stages of their architectural career, to celebrate their work and boost their professional trajectory.

Marking the 95th anniversary of the birth of architect Luis Peña Ganchegui, who passed away in 2009, the third edition of the award bearing his name has been announced. The prize is aimed at young Basque architecture and includes a cash award of €6,000.

The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), one of the most prominent educational and research centers in Southern Europe, is offering a scholarship for students to enroll in the Master in Advanced Ecological Buildings & Biocities (MAEBB) for the 2021-22 academic year. Focusing on landscape design and sustainability, the MPAP trains professionals capable of critically addressing contemporary environmental, territorial, and urban challenges.

The recent distinction awarded by Roskilde University to Rodrigo Tisi, academic and director of the Master of Design Sciences at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) School of Design, as "Adjunct Associate Professor" in the Faculty of Arts and Communication, reflects the excellence of his work in the field of Performance Design. More importantly, it highlights the Design Lab's capacity to explore new content and areas of knowledge. A National Fondart grant in the architecture research category will allow the academic to collaborate with researchers from Denmark, Norway, and Canada.

The call for entries for the 2020 CAU/RJ Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize is now available! This year's winner will be awarded a study trip to a Latin American country, in addition to R$ 7,000 for expenses. The authors of the projects placed 2nd and 3rd will receive R$ 5,000 and R$ 3,000, respectively, for study trips. The results will be announced at the Architect and Urban Planner Day celebration on December 15. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held online and streamed live on the CAU/RJ YouTube channel. Further details regarding the program will be released soon.

The Pintuco – SCA Antioquia Scholarship is a program for architects and designers in Colombia and across Latin America who are interested in enhancing the spatial quality of residential spaces through interior design. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition for the SCA-Antioquia interior architecture diploma program.
