Young Architects Festival YAF 2023: Call for Architectural Installations

The selection process has begun for the construction of a temporary architectural installation as part of the second Young Architects Festival (YAF_CONSTRUCTO), to be held in 2023. The first edition of the festival took place at the Ruinas de Huanchaca Museum in Antofagasta in 2022.

The 22nd Brazilian Congress of Architects will take place in Fortaleza in 2026, marking a national reunion for the architecture community in the post-pandemic era.

Premiere of “Plan for Buenos Aires” at the General San Martín Cultural Center

This Friday, August 5, at 7:00 PM, the feature-length documentary Plan para Buenos Aires, directed by Gerardo Panero, will premiere at the Centro Cultural General San Martín. Selected for the 23rd edition of BAFICI (Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema), Plan para Buenos Aires examines Le Corbusier’s proposal to develop an urban plan for the city of Buenos Aires.

80 Years of the College of Architects of Chile

Lecture and Conversation with Paula Velasco: Heritage and the City

On Wednesday, August 10, at 10:20 AM, the first session of a lecture series will take place, organized by the School of Architecture at the Universidad Andrés Bello's Campus Creativo. The series is led by professors Claudia Woywood and Soledad Larraín in collaboration with the Valparaíso Zonal Delegation of the College of Architects and with the participation of Espacio La Compañía, as part of the "City and Architecture" course.

MA Awards 2022: Highlighting the work of women architects in Chile

The inaugural "MA Awards 2022" seek to promote and highlight the work of contemporary women architects in Chile. To this end, the awards feature two categories: Emerging and Established. Both categories aim to identify and recognize architectural production in areas such as housing, public architecture, urbanism, landscape, and others. The awards seek to promote built works across Chile developed by women architects, thereby increasing the visibility of architecture within the country and showcasing its diversity.
