Bruther Lecture at Di Tella Campus

This Saturday, August 6, at 7:00 PM, the Bruther (Stéphanie Bru, Alexandre Theriot) conference will take place, organized by the Center for Studies of Contemporary Architecture (CEAC) at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, with an introduction by Marcelo Faiden.

Bruther is an architecture firm founded in Paris in 2007 by Stéphanie Bru and Alexandre Theriot. Their work is characterized by a refined technical pragmatism in the construction of open infrastructures with simple geometries and flexible uses. As part of a generation of professionals who began their independent practice at the onset of the recession, they define architecture "as a Swiss Army knife: a tool that can reconcile different fields of knowledge in the most disparate circumstances." Their works and projects have been the subject of several international monographic publications, such as a+u (2022), El Croquis (2019), and 2G (2018). They have also received various international awards, most notably the Swiss Art Award (2020), the Dejean Prize from the Academy of Architecture (2018), and the Équerre d’Argent award on three occasions (2016, 2018, 2020).
