The 8th {CURA} Prize continues the initiative of hosting idea competitions on themes aligned with current discussions in architecture, the city, and society, with a focus on contemporary Brazil. In a national and global context facing the many consequences of the global climate crisis, this year’s competition theme is Collective Housing for the 21st Century.

Since 1927, the most visited park in South America has undergone various projects, culminating in its completion for the 4th centennial of São Paulo.
