The "Pedestrian Networks" competition seeks to promote a connected Antofagasta. The initiative invites participants to connect the city and develop pedestrian solutions to bring neighborhoods closer together, strengthening the hill-to-sea connection and promoting accessibility to the coastline.
"Pedestrian Networks for Antofagasta" is the name of the competition organized by CREO Antofagasta, in collaboration with the Regional Government, the Municipality of Antofagasta, and the Association of Architecture Offices, with the sponsorship of the College of Architects, under the mandate of the Regional Ministerial Secretariat (Seremi) of Housing and Urbanism. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of hill-to-sea connections and promote the consolidation of pedestrian networks with high-quality infrastructure and amenities, resolving connectivity issues and improving the quality of meeting spaces and pedestrian circulation for residents throughout the city.
