The international design contest jumpthegap® is organized by Roca in collaboration with BCD Barcelona Design Centre and with the academic support of Elisava, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.
Established as a global benchmark, the contest provides a platform where designers and architects worldwide under the age of 40, or students in these disciplines, can showcase their talent by providing conceptual, sustainable, and innovative solutions for the bathroom space of the future. In this edition, jumpthegap® is aligned with the sixth Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda.
Since its inception, the jumpthegap® jury has been noted for its prominence by bringing together renowned professionals in the fields of design and architecture. For this eighth edition, the jury president for both the student and professional categories is the acclaimed Brazilian architect Ruy Ohtake. The remaining members are prestigious professionals from various countries.
