On Friday, March 11, the launch of Recorte will take place in São Paulo. The magazine, focused on design and creativity, is produced, edited, and funded by a community of designers, illustrators, and creative industry professionals.

As part of an initiative to develop social projects aimed at improving housing for those in need, TAO is partnering with Urban Green and the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Morón to host a live "Workshop-Build" open to the public. The event will take place from March 7 to 11 at 7446 Galileo Galilei Street in Moreno, Buenos Aires Province.

What is Taller del Río?
It is a summer workshop organized by the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura Avanzada [ESAA] and the architecture firm [Ciudad Portátil] in Neiva, Colombia. The workshop aims to rethink new interactions within public space through experimental practices and the participatory construction of an ephemeral or semi-permanent installation that engages with its surroundings and reflects on being, belonging, and inhabiting the city of the Magdalena River.

Rhetoric has been broadly defined as the art of persuasion. Unfortunately, in the last two centuries, rhetoric has suffered a rather bad reputation because it has been deliberately overused to mislead and manipulate. However, the present argument claims that rhetoric is, above all, a method for creation, considering it as the study of the general relationships of unexpectedness for invention and persuasion.

The School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Margolese Design for Living Prize. The $50,000 prize honours a Canadian designer whose work uplifts people, places and communities.

This exhibition takes us into the extensive archive of Bill Lucas (1924–2001), revealing the aspirations, ideals and works of one of Sydney’s foremost late 20th century architects. It includes a feast of previously unseen archival drawings, photographs, artworks, private writings and public documents, illustrating his trajectory from conventional to increasingly unconventional practice with projects that were invariably ahead of their time.

On Saturday, February 26, United We Dream and Black Lives Matter: Houston will debut Move Into the Future, a public art sculpture and pop-up experience at Emancipation Park to honor Black History Month, celebrate Black and brown youth power, and build alliances in our local community.
