Recorte, a design magazine created by designers, launches its inaugural issue.

On Friday, March 11, the launch of Recorte will take place in São Paulo. The magazine, focused on design and creativity, is produced, edited, and funded by a community of designers, illustrators, and creative industry professionals.

Spanning over 300 pages, the magazine's first edition brings together 45 texts from 35 contributors. The volume reflects on the pandemic's impact on our relationship with work, the conflicts of being a designer in late capitalism, and the desire to collectively find new paths for the profession. The cover is illustrated by Paola Saliby, with graphic design by Estúdio Passeio.

The event is open to the public and will feature Rafael Bessa (148 Designers Respondem; Diagrama podcast), Dominique Kronemberger, and Flora de Carvalho (Estúdio Passeio) to discuss the most urgent themes addressed in the magazine's first volume.
