Hedafor, a group company associated with Deforche Construction Group, collaborates with driven horticulturists, growers, and forward-thinking researchers in pursuit of optimal horticulture, botanical exploration, and plant research environments. This collaboration aims to create innovative spaces for research and growth.
Photovoltaic Greenhouses from Hedafor combines greenhouse and glass roof construction systems with photovoltaic panels, also offering the potential to grow a culture beneath. The solar panels and construction are combined with a building-integrated approach. Built examples include the Eurospace Center and a Crop Farming Greenhouse in France
System Types
There are distinct types of systems which include the symmetric solar Venlo and Venlo solar windows designed to optimize the solar energy generated through their asymmetrical gable while not impacting the light that enters the greenhouse for the culture itself. Hedafor also offers a number of sloped roofs with a mosaic of solar panels and glass. The specific distribution of panels is tailored to each project.
Static Calculations
The static calculations are done in-house and are crucial for greenhouse construction. They involve assessing the structural stability and safety of the greenhouse framework to ensure it can withstand various environmental loads and forces.
Deforche Construction Group makes wide use of integrating solar panels in glass constructions. These include architectural projects with their Group company Forzon, as well as systems focused on the standardization of production through Hedafor.
