All Glass Entrances in Chicago Cube | AESTECH LDT

Aestech manufactures insulated glass units with higher stiffness developed according to its patents. Its solutions allow the company to bring a project to life just as envisioned. Aestech combines aesthetics and functionality to transform the appearance and quality of modern cities today. Frameless glazing facade systems from Aestech were used for the entrance group of the Chicago Cube, a residential complex located in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The design excludes the use of aluminum systems, which makes the entrance group light and aesthetically pleasing. The individual glass elements have a maximum size of 5.3 x 2.8 meters without frames or visible metal supports at the edges.

The glass ribs of the 11.6-meter-high structure perform two functions: they withstand wind loads and serve as the supporting structure for the roof, which has electric heating. As the insulated glass units have high characteristics of solar radiation reflection, it's cool and comfortable inside the cube on hot days.
