The 8th {CURA} Prize continues the initiative of hosting idea competitions on themes aligned with current discussions in architecture, the city, and society, with a focus on contemporary Brazil. In a national and global context facing the many consequences of the global climate crisis, this year’s competition theme is Collective Housing for the 21st Century.
The Félix Candela Award is an international architectural ideas competition conducted in Spanish, held in two phases. It is organized annually by the Spanish Institute of Architecture (IESARQ) and is open to students of architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and design, as well as young architects, landscape architects, urbanists, and designers, participating either individually or in teams of two or three.
In its aim to launch new formats that respond to urban transformations, Concéntrico presents three open calls—"Objetos en la ciudad" (Objects in the City), "Tercer paisaje" (Third Landscape), and "Picnic en el viñedo" (Picnic in the Vineyard)—to participate in the festival in Logroño. The new edition will be held from June 19 to 24, 2025.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda (MIVAU), in collaboration with the Higher Council of Architects' Associations of Spain and supported by the ARQUIA Foundation, has opened the selection process for the curatorship of the 17th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (BEAU). The expansion of the Sesc network and the development of new facilities at Sesc Mogi das Cruzes have prompted a National Preliminary Architectural Design Competition. Promoted by the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc SP) and organized by the Institute of Architects of Brazil – São Paulo Department (IABsp), the competition aims to select the best architectural project submitted by architects and urban planners. The project involves the creation of a new "Park Unit" near the center of Mogi das Cruzes, on a flat site surrounded by natural areas and the São Paulo Green Belt, with views of the Serra do Itapeti.

The UIA 2026 Barcelona World Congress of Architects (UIA2026BCN) announces the Call for Participants, an international, open invitation for professionals worldwide to take part in the world's largest architecture event.

ARCHLAND, a firm specializing in the organization of architecture competitions, is honored to present its most significant competition to date. This initiative will enable the Choquequirao Citadel to achieve World Heritage status and be recognized as Peru's second archaeological wonder, following Machu Picchu, within the tourism circuit.
