International Competition 'Schools for Nepal: Building Resilience'

Archstorming has launched an international competition to design resilient schools following natural disasters in Nepal.

In 2024, Nepal experienced one of the most devastating monsoon seasons in its history. Catastrophic torrential rains triggered severe flooding and landslides, destroying numerous homes, infrastructure, and more than 140 schools, leaving thousands of children without a safe place to learn.

The aftermath has been nearly as devastating as that of the 2015 earthquake, yet it has gone largely unnoticed, with a much smaller international response. It is time to support Nepal once again, helping children in vulnerable communities secure a better future.
