Open Call for Parkway on the Park, Association for Public Art
The Association for Public Art and the Parkway Council, in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, are thrilled to announce an Open Call for Art on the Parkway. This is a juried competition that asks applicants to propose a temporary public art installation in Maja Park that will be on exhibit for approximately three months as part of the annual summer Oval festival. Proposers are asked to explore the ways in which art can help create and define a sense of place. The selected artist will receive an all-inclusive award of $15,000.
KRob 50th Anniversary Competition - Submissions due May 23rd at 5PM CST

A Dallas classic that has received international recognition, KRob honors hand and digital delineation by professionals and students throughout the world. The 2024 Ideas Competition: A Gateway for Mieres, is organized by the University of Oviedo, in collaboration with the City Council of Mieres. It's aimed at stimulating innovative solutions to improve the urban, aesthetic, and landscape conditions around the northern entrance to Mieres from the A-66 highway, focusing on enhancing pedestrian and cyclist conditions, as well as integrating this area into the urban fabric more effectively.

The International Union of Architects, in collaboration with UN-Habitat, has announced the launch of the second cycle of the UIA 2030 Award. This biennial award promotes the work of architects contributing to the delivery of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development together with the New Urban Agenda.
The first cycle of the award gathered 125 projects from 40 countries and the final results were announced on 28 June 2022 in Katowice, Poland, during the World Urban Forum (WUF11).

The Basque Country Architecture Institute and Arc en Rêve Centre d'Architecture, with the support of the Department of Territorial Planning, Housing and Transport of the Basque Government, have announced the first edition of the European Collective Housing Award. This new award aims to highlight the value of collective housing as a cornerstone of the architectural heritage of an entire continent, and to promote innovation, inclusion and environmental responsibility in its design. Submissions are now being accepted until 7 May, 2024.
The aim is to showcase the architecture of collective housing constructions and their positive impact on society, while raising awareness of the importance of housing policies and their constant renewal.
